Insights into phylogenetic relationships between Trioxys Haliday, 1833 and Binodoxys Mackauer, 1960 (Hymenoptera, Braconidae, Aphidiinae), with a description of a new species of the genus Trioxys

Despite extensive research on the taxonomy and phylogeny of subfamily Aphidiinae Haliday, 1833, certain questions about relationships between genera remain unresolved. Genera Trioxys 1833 Binodoxys Mackauer, 1960 are considered closely related, based morphological molecular analyses. However, recent studies suggest there is a need for taxonomic revision two genera, since data does not support monophyly groups when larger number species used in analysis. We examine those using including new we describe present study. ulmi ?krki? & Tomanovi?, n. sp. parasitoid Japanese elm aphid (Tinocallis takachihoensis Higuchi, 1972) hybrids (Ulmus x hollandica Mill.). its probable Asian origin, this has gone undescribed until accidental introduction to Europe, highlighting importance continued efforts.
